CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police have arrested a 52-year-old Canadian national over the alleged sexual assault of a drunk female acquaintance at an apartment in Sakura City earlier this year, reports TV Asahi (Nov. 2).
In September, Amin Khashuri, an executive at a used car sales company, is suspected of forcing a female acquaintance to drink alcohol at the residence. He then took her a bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
During questioning, the suspect partially denied the charges. “I didn’t force her,” he said.
According to police, Khashuri poured the alcohol directly into the woman’s mouth in forcing her to drink it.
The incident came to light last month when the woman contacted the police for advice.
