SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police have arrested a 27-year-old woman for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend after he accused her of infidelity, reports TV Asahi (Mar. 10).
On the evening of March 4, Yukari Enomoto allegedly used a knife to stab her boyfriend, 41, in the back at his apartment in Yoshikawa City. “Are you not being unfaithful?” he demanded before she committed the alleged crime.
The man suffered injuries that are expected to require three weeks to heal.
Enomoto, who has been charged with attempted murder, admits to the allegations. “I flew into a rage,” the suspect is quoted by the Yoshikawa Police Station.
The incident took place after the man looked at the Enomoto’s mobile phone and found messages from another man. “I will kill you and I will also die,” the suspect threatened after being accused of infidelity.
