KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police have arrested a 21-year-old male university student following the confiscation of a mixture of cocaine and other drugs from a teenager, reports TBS News (Dec. 5).

In early October, Yoshiki Fujita, a third-year student at a private university, allegedly handed a bag containing 0.8 grams of cocaine and kakuseizai, or stimulant drugs, to a male high school student, 17, at a park in the town of Samukawa.

Fujita, who has been accused of transferring illegal drugs, admits to the allegations.

In November, the youth was arrested for possession of the contraband. Fujita then surfaced as a suspect after the boy told police, “I was taking charge [of the drugs] on behalf of my sempai,” or senior.

Police are now investigating how Fujita obtained the illegal substances.
