Saitama cops: Knife-wielding man wanted in ¥3 million pachinko heist

SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police a searching for a man suspected in the robbery of a pachinko parlor in Fujimi City, reports TV Asahi (Oct. 30).

At around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, a man accosted a 43-year-old female employee of Sky Plaza Fujimi in a parking lot after she had closed the parlor. The man said while holding a knife, “Open the shop. If you scream, I’ll kill you.”

The man then fled the scene after taking around three million yen in cash from an office safe.

The woman was not hurt in the incident.

Described as standing around 170 centimeters and height and wearing a black hooded jacket, the man is wanted on suspicion of robbery.
