HYOGO (TR) – Enough is enough.

Following yet another car-ramming incident at an office of the Yamaguchi-gumi, the boss of the gang on Thursday morning decided to send a message of encouragement to his troops, reports Fuji News Network (Mar. 17).

At approximately 9:30 a.m., Shinobu Tsukasa, 74, exited a sedan at the Nagamine Reien Cemetery, located in Kobe’s Nada Ward, and proceeded the graves of his predecessors, including Yoshinori Watanabe, who passed away three years ago.

The visit was very timely.

About four hours before, a vehicle smashed into an office of an affiliate gang in Sakai City. There were no reports of injuries.

On Wednesday, a car belonging to a Yamaguchi-gumi boss was set ablaze in Saitama Prefecture. Meanwhile, in Osaka’s Kadoma City, a truck slammed into the entrance door of an office of the Kodo-kai, an affiliate gang of the Yamaguchi-gumi.

Police are viewing the incidents as a part of the ongoing feud between the Yamaguchi-gumi and the Kobe Yamaguchi-gumi that has escalated in recent weeks and included multiple car-ramming incidents and shootings.

Since the Kobe Yamaguchi-gumi formed following the dissolution of the Yamaguchi-gumi in September, law enforcement has been taking measures to alleviate violence between the two gangs. Last week, the National Police Agency officially acknowledged that the groups are in a “state of confrontation.”

When asked by a reporter from Fuji News Network about the influence the conflict might have on average citizens, Tsukasa did not offer a reply.
