AICHI (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police have arrested the head of a chain of sex parlors in Nagoya with links to organized crime for threatening a female employee, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Mar. 9).

In October of last year, Kazuhiro Igarashi, the 45-year-old president of I Group, allegedly sent an email to a woman employed at one parlor in which he said he would reveal her occupation to her mother if she resigned.

Igarashi denies the charges, telling police he has no recollection of the incident. Another I Group employee was also arrested during the investigation.

I Group currently operates two parlors in Atsuta Ward: Renai Jogakuin is staffed by women dressed as school girls, while Amai Yuwaku features married women.

While under different management, both businesses were cited by police for funding the Kodo-kai organized crime group, which is affiliated with the Yamaguchi-gumi, according to Nippon News Network (Mar. 10).

Investigators suspect that the parlors are still sending revenue to the Kodo-kai. At approximately 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, approximately 20 investigators raided both parlors in search of evidence linking them to the gang.
