Sex parlor employee stabbed in Shizuoka

SHIZUOKA (TR) – Shizuoka Prefectural Police are searching for a man suspected in the stabbing of a 41-year-old employee of a fuzoku (commercial sex) parlor in Hamamatsu City, reports Yomiuri Television (Oct. 23).

On Friday afternoon, the assailant came up from behind the employee of the second-floor shop, located in Naka Ward, and attacked him with what is believed to be a screwdriver. The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim suffered stab wounds in approximately 10 locations of his body, including his back and chest. He was then taken to a nearby hospital. His condition is not considered serious.

The suspect is described as being in his 40s and measuring approximately 170 centimeters in height. He was attired in khaki work clothes.

Just before the attack, the employee was opening the door to the shop when the suspect let out a scream from behind.

Police are treating incident as attempted murder.
