TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Friday arrested a 34-year-old construction worker who has admitted involvement in a series incidents in which he exposed himself to young girls, reports TBS News (July 10).

On June 23 at approximately 7:00 p.m., Hiroshi Kamada is alleged to have dropped his pants and revealed the lower half of his body to a second year middle school girl, 14, on a road near his residence in Katsushika Ward and embraced her.

Kamada, who has been charged with committing obscene acts, admits to the allegations. “From the moment I made a discovery, I imagined what it would be like to touch her,” the suspect is quoted by police. “Since March, I’ve targeted young girls on more than 20 occasions.”

The suspect told police that he used a bicycle to assist in targeting victims, often within narrow alleys.

Since June, police had received complaints from four victims living near the suspect’s residence. A drawing was then created showing a rendering of his face to assist in his capture.
