TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of a 26-year-old male from Suginami Ward for taking illicit photos of teenage girls, reports TV Asahi (June 16).

Police accused Takamasa Shiroishi, a computer programmer at a video game company, of sneaking into a residence and photographing two female middle school students in a shower room on 25 occasions since October.

Shiroishi, who has been charged with violating child prostitution and pornography laws, has reportedly admitted to the allegations. “I knew it was wrong, but due to troubles and stress at work I could not stop,” the suspect is quoted by police.

A search of his smartphone and other devices revealed photographs of other young girls.
