NAGOYA (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police on Friday announced the bust of an Internet mail order business in Kita Ward that sold illegal pornographic DVDs by mail order, reports Nippon Television Network (June 27).

On Wednesday, officers arrested Kichiya Nagada, 24, Takashi Tsukamoto, 37, and two other suspects for the possession of uncensored pornographic DVDs with the intent to sell. A search of the building used to produce the DVDs revealed approximately 64,000 discs and dubbing equipment.

By law, films available in Japan are required to have genitalia properly censored.

The four suspects have reportedly admitted to the allegations. “In order to avoid the yakuza, we changed our location every six months,” Nagada is quoted by police.

The ring sold DVDs for 95 yen each. Over the past year, the business collected 45 million yen in revenue.
