Chiba Prefectural Police arrested Masaki Suzuki, 27, after he tripped an alarm trying to take the bag containing the list and gym gear out of a locker room at the public middle school in Hanamigawa Ward at around 5 a.m., reports Fuji News Network (Mar. 19).
Suzuki was apprehended at the scene by a responding officer on charges of theft. The suspect told police that he “entered school grounds to take a shortcut, but I don’t know anything about the bag.”
