KANAGAWA (TR) – A male scooter rider died after crashing into a car at an intersection in Hiratsuka City, police said on Sunday.
The 55-year-old scooter rider died after he was rushed to a hospital with severe blunt force trauma to his body while the 29-year-old male car driver was uninjured in the crash that occurred sometime before 3 a.m., TBS News reports (Dec. 11).
Police are investigating the possibility that one of the men involved had ignored the traffic light at the intersection.
