HYOGO (TR) – A man assaulted the manager of an udon noodle restaurant on Saturday after he was refused more broth for his bowl, police said.

The 39-year-old suspect grabbed the 61-year-old manager’s arm and pressed it against a counter after the manager refused his request to add more broth to his bowl at around 1 a.m. at Amagasaki City, the Kobe Shimbun reports (Dec. 10).

According to police, the suspect was sharing the bowl with a woman at the time of the incident.

The suspect has admitted to the charges, police said.
