HOKKAIDO (TR) – A car crashed straight-on into another car, killing one and seriously injuring two, police said on Sunday.
A woman in her 20s was killed and two men were left unconscious in serious condition in the crash that occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on a road in Sapporo’s Atsubetsu Ward, the TV Asahi reports (November 20).
The crash occurred on a straight road that has two lanes on each side with good visibility, the Atsubetsu Police Station said.
The woman could have veered into the other lane, police investigating the crash said.
