TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police are investigating what is believed to have been a murder-suicide following the discovery of two bodies inside a love hotel in Edogawa Ward, reports TBS News (Nov. 17).
At around 10:50 a.m., the body of a man, believed to be aged in his 70s, was found hanged inside a closet. The body of a woman, likely aged in her 60s, was also found on a bed with marks consistent with strangulation on her neck.
With a will found at the scene, police suspect that the man strangled the woman to death before taking his own life.
