OSAKA (TR) – Police arrested the manager of a commercial sex business here on Tuesday that was masquerading as a massage parlor, including employing female employees to wear tiny “nano bikinis” to serve a customers.

Ken Maeda, the 35-year-old manager of Eighteen, located in Chuo Ward, was arrested for violating the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses after he allegedly employed a woman, 18, to provide sexual services to a male customer in his 20s on September 5, the Asahi Shimbun reports (Oct. 4).

The shop (@nmbjk_18 on Twitter) offered various courses, including a 9,000-yen option for 60 minutes. Customers could also pay for add-on services such as a nano bikini option, where workers reportedly wore tiny bikinis with a surface area of only a few square centimeters.

The shop, which is operated out of a room in an apartment residence, claims to be a massage parlor and advertises itself as the “world’s first to offer nano bikinis.” The shop’s most prominent banner also claims to offer an option that packages hotel fees with course fees.

In a disclaimer on its web site, plastered with photos of what appear to be high school girls, the shop claims to be a “reflexology shop that does not offer real massages.”

Retail-type sex parlors are banned in principle in the city of Osaka.
