TOKYO (TR) – The Tokyo District Court last week dropped a public obscenity case against 52 persons involved in the making of an adult video (AV) production which was filmed at a campground in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture three years ago, reports TBS News (Sept. 24).

On Friday, the court ruled that the campground was sufficiently sealed off to prevent outsiders from viewing the shoot. “With the site being in the mountains, the location was not visible to outside parties,” the court ruled.

Over a two-day period ending on October 1, 2013, nine actresses, referred to as “sperm fairies,” 24 actors and 19 other production personnel, including Norihide Murayama, 49, the former president of talent agency Marks Japan, participated in the making of the film at the campground.

Also among the production personnel cited in the case was the president of AV production company CA, which is within the DMM.com group.

In June, Murayama and the current president of Marks Japan were arrested for allegedly forcing a woman to perform as an actress in the same shoot against her will. The former president was ordered to pay a fine of one million yen under a summary order by the Tokyo Summary Court in July.

The arrests in the public obscenity case resulted from the investigation into the case in which an actress claimed to have been coerced to perform, according to the Sankei Shimbun (Sept. 23).
