AICHI (TR) – Police arrested a 15-year-old girl here on Thursday for alleged possession and use of illegal drugs.
The girl, in her third year of middle school, was arrested for allegedly using stimulant drugs this month in Okazaki City and possession of 0.1 grams of kakuseizai, or stimulant drugs, at her residence, Nippon News Network reports (September 29).
The girl admitted to the charges, quoted by the Okazaki Police Station as saying she “used stimulant drugs” and “had them for my own use.”
The girl was receiving a medical check-up when a doctor noticed the presence of stimulant drugs in her blood test and alerted police. Her mother subsequently discovered white powder inside their home.
