TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a construction worker suspected in dozens of flashing incidents, reports Nippon News Network (Sept. 14).

On the evening of August 5, Seitaro Takada, a 31-year-old resident of Katsushika Ward, exposed the lower half of his body to a woman, 21, as she returned home near the Buddhist temple Shibamata Taishakuten.

Takada, who has been charged with public indecency, admits to the allegations. “I did it for the thrill, to enhance my sexual desire,” the suspect is quoted.

In carrying out the crime, the suspect emerged from behind a wall of a parking lot and dropped his shorts in front of the woman without saying anything.

Police are investigating Takada’s possible involvement in a total of 48 similar incidents that have taken place in the same area this year.
