Hyogo cops nab prison guard for illicit filming of woman in Kobe

HYOGO (TR) – Hyogo Prefectural Police have arrested a 39-year-old prison guard for allegedly taking illicit pictures of a woman inside a train station in Kobe’s Chuo Ward, reports TV Asahi (July 31).

At just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, Hideaki Matsushita, a guard at a prison in Kobe, used a smartphone to film up the skirt of the woman, 29, on an escalator at JR Sannomiya Station.

Matsushita, who has been charged with violating a public nuisance ordinance, admits to the allegations. “I did it to relieve stress,” the suspect is quoted by police.

The suspect was apprehended after a police officer on patrol observed observed him filming the woman from behind.
