CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police are investigating a robbery in which a gang held up a love hotel in Oamishirasato City, reports TBS News (June 26).

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, three persons wearing black masks forced their way into Hotel Castle, located in the Tomida area, and entered the second-floor office.

The members of the group then thrust a knife and beer bottle in front of the 76-year-old male owner while demanding money. The group subsequently fled the scene by car after taking approximately 180,000 yen from a drawer.

There were no injuries to hotel staff members or customers in the incident.

According to police, the members of the group were dressed entirely black. Investigators are now examining security camera footage to identify the persons.
