FUKUOKA (TR) – Fukuoka Prefectural Police have arrested two organized crime members after pistols and ammunition were found inside a residence of one of the suspects in Kitakyushu City, reports TBS News (June 24).

On May 30, police found three automatic pistols, one revolver and 103 rounds of ammunition during a search of the residence in Yahatanishi Ward of Park Jung Tae, a 52-year-old member of the Kudo-kai, for violations of the Swords and Firearms Control Law.

Police subsequently arrested Hiroshi Hirata, 48, also a member of the Kudo-kai, for involvement in the same crime.

Police are now investigating how the gang members obtained the weapons.
