TOKYO (TR) – Following the stabbing of an idol who had been stalked last month, Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Thursday announced the arrest of a man in Okayama Prefecture for allegedly threatening an adult video (AV) actress online, reports Sports Nippon (June 9).

Between May 29 and June 1, Yoshiyuki Saida, a 49-year-old resident of Niimi City, allegedly sent threatening messages to Tsukasa Aoi, 25, via Twitter. “I am going on a nationwide tour,” the suspect allegedly wrote. “Get ready. I’m coming after you.”

Saida admits to the allegations. He told police that he is not acquainted with Aoi.

In the barrage of tweets, the suspect invoked the stabbing of Mayu Tomita, 22, in Koganei City, Tokyo on May 21. “Do you want Koganei all over again?” the suspect wrote. “Be careful walking around alone at night.”

Police arrested Tomohiro Iwazaki, 27, over the attack of Tomita, who was stabbed more than 20 times before a live performance. Prior to the incident, Tomita, who remains hospitalized, consulted with police about persistent stalking by Iwazaki.

A complaint regarding the tweets by Saida was filed with police on June 1. Four days later, Aoi performed in Sapporo, Hokkaido as a member of the Ebisu Muscats, a pop group composed of gravure (pin-up) models and AV idols.

After the show, Aoi thanked the people of Sapporo for their warm welcome on Twitter (@aoi_tsuksa7). She also expressed her gratitude to the police and members of the event staff. “Eroticism is beautiful,” she declared. “We are the Ebisu Muscats, and we are running wild nationwide!”
