TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Thursday released a photo of a man wanted in the swindle of an 82-year-old woman in Nerima Ward, reports the Sankei Shimbun (June 2).
On the afternoon of April 6, the woman handed over two million yen in cash to the suspect, who is believed to be in his 60s and approximately 160 centimeters in height.

After visiting an automatic-teller machine, the woman handed the money over to a person claiming to be her son’s colleague who appeared at her front door.
