OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police on Thursday busted an aesthetic salon in Higashiyodogawa Ward for licensing violations, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Feb. 19).

Police arrested Eiji Kotani, the 44-year-old manager of salon Bebe, which is run out of an apartment, for providing customers with sex services in violation of the adult-entertainment law regarding location of business operations. In January, a female attendant allegedly provided sex to two male customers.

Kotani denies the allegations. “I am not the manager,” the suspect is quoted by police. Two masseuses, both aged in their 20s, are being questioned as a part of the investigation.

At Bebe, the price for the “short course” service is 5,000 yen for 50 minutes.

In a crackdown conducted last year, police in Osaka raided five parlors that were operating out of residences.
