TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a male corpse outside JR Shibuya Station, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Feb. 18).
At approximately 10:10 a.m. on Thursday, an employee with a gas company found the body collapsed in between two buildings located near the Shibuya Hikarie complex.
The corpse was attired only in underwear, with its left hand clutching a jacket.
The body did not exhibit any signs of external injuries. Police arriving at the scene confirmed the man dead.
Police are now attempting to identify the body. The case is being viewed as a death by natural causes.
