SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police on Monday arrested a male employee at the National Tax Agency for attempting to take illicit images of female students at a high school in Niiza City, reports Nikkan Sports (Jan. 4).

At approximately 12:30 p.m., Masashi Ogawa, a 28-year-old staff member at the Azabu branch of the National Tax Agency in Tokyo, was spotted following a girl by a male teacher on the campus, located in the Owada area.

After being questioned by the teacher, the suspect, who was on holiday, fled the scene. He was later apprehended about 200 meters away from the campus and brought before a member of the Niiza Police Station, according to the Sankei Shimbun (Jan. 5).

Ogawa, who has been charged with trespassing, admits to the allegations. “I thought I could photograph girls,” the suspect is quoted by police.
