TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police this week busted a massage parlor staffed with Chinese attendants in the Akihabara area for licensing violations, reports TBS News (Dec. 3).

On Tuesday evening, officers entered parlor Aki, located near JR Akihabara Station, and found a masseuse supplying sexual services to a male company employee in his 40s in a private room in violation of the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses.

Police arrested the manager of the parlor, a 42-year-old Chinese national. “If this were a regular massage parlor, there would be no customers,” the manager is quoted by police.

Since opening in January, Aki has received approximately seven million yen in sales.
