HYOGO (TR) – Hyogo Prefectural Police are searching for the husband of a 62-year-old woman whose body was found in the residence they share in the town of Kamigori, reports TBS News (Nov. 23).
On Sunday at approximately 10:30 a.m., the 30-year-old son of Yoko Ogawa found her body wrapped in a blanket and collapsed in the kitchen of the residence. The body, which was attired in pajamas, had received several stab wounds to the head. The time of death is believed to have been between one and three days prior to the discovery of the body.
Police are treating the case as murder. Investigators are now seeking the whereabouts of Ogawa’s 66-year-old husband, who works as a gardener, in order to question him about his potential involvement in the incident.
At approximately 8:00 a.m. that morning, the son telephoned the residence. When the call was not answered, he visited the home and made the grisly discovery.
