Tokyo hostess club busted for touting sex

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Tuesday announced the bust of a hostess club in Hamura City for soliciting prostitution, reports Nippon News Network (Nov. 17).

On Sunday, police arrested Takeharu Miwa, the 41-year-old manager of Luv Collection, street tout Yutaka Horoiwa, 31, and three other employees for offering honban, or full sex, which is illegal under the Anti-prostitution Law, to pedestrians near JR Hamura Station.

Luv Collection is a promoted as a “pink salon,” which is a business that typically offers oral sex as administered by female attendants.

Police became aware of the situation after local residents lodged complaints about the touting.

Since opening in June of last year, revenue at Luv Collection has totaled 150 million yen.
