TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Wednesday announced the arrest of an executive of a U.S.-based financial consulting firm for importing illegal sex enhancement drugs, reports Fuji News Network (Aug. 12).

Sho Ikeno, a 31-year-old manager at Bain & Company, whose Japan headquarters is located in Tokyo’s Marunouchi district, is alleged to have ordered 15 small bottles of illegal “poppers” drugs, including Super Rush Liquid Incense, from the Czech Republic in May.

Ikeno admits to the allegations, telling police that he purchased the drugs for his own use.

An X-ray examination by Yokohama Customs officials of a package addressed to Ikeno revealed the contraband. A search of the suspect’s residence resulted in the discovery of more small bottles of drugs.

Classified as “dangerous,” the liquid drugs are illegal to use and possess under pharmaceutical laws.
