YOKOHAMA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police on Monday busted a sex parlor catering to men in Nishi Ward for employing an underage boy, reports the Sankei Shimbun (July 27).

Between July and September of last year, Toshiyuki Maki, the 28-year-old manager of DG Young Man Academy, is alleged to have employed the boy, 16, to provide sexual services to approximately 60 customers.

Maki has been charged with violating child welfare laws regarding obscene acts. The suspect denies the allegations, telling police that he was unaware of the boy’s age.

According to police, the boy received information about the job through a smartphone application in June of last year. The boy was subsequently paid 500,000 yen for his services.

According to its Web site, DG Young Man Academy operates a number of outlets nationwide.
