OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police on Tuesday raided an aesthetic massage parlor staffed with Korean attendants in Sakai City for licensing violations, reports the Mainichi Broadcasting System (June 23).

At midnight, officers entered parlor Mizutama, located in Mihara Ward, and arrested 52-year-old manager Kim Jin-Ok for supplying sexual services to male customers in violation of the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses.

Kim, who is a Korean national, has admitted to the allegations.

According to police, the parlor attempted to evade a crackdown by promoting itself as a business offering traditional Korean body-washing methods.

Prior to the raid, an employee told the broadcaster that personnel at the parlor try to avoid law enforcement by not explaining exactly what services are provided over the phone.
