Yellow Cab was founded in 1980. It rose to prominence over the next two decades, largely due to the popularity of pin-up stars Fumie Hosokawa, Shinobu Horie and Akiko Hinagata.
At the end of last month, the company terminated employment contracts, including those for top-name idols Eiko Koike and Eriko Sato.
