CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police on Wednesday arrested an airport officer for taking illicit video of a third-year high-school girl in Tsudanuma City, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Jan. 7).

Officers from the Narashino Police Station took Jun Tsunoda, a 28-year-old guard at Narita International Airport, into custody after he allegedly used a digital camera to film inside the skirt of the girl, 18, on the street near JR Tsudanuma Station at around 11:00 a.m.

A search of a bag he was carrying by a patrol officer revealed a camera containing explicit images.

The suspect, who has been charged with violating a public nuisance ordinance, has admitted to the charges, according to Nippon News Network (Jan. 7).

“It is truly regrettable that a member of our staff has been arrested,” said Rysuke Toyoda, the commanding officer of the Narita International Airport security garrison. “For that, I would like to offer my sincere apologies.”
