TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Wednesday announced the bust of a casino in Toshima Ward on charges of illegal gambling, reports TV Asahi (Nov. 26).

On Monday, police took Hiromasa Tachibana, the 48-year-old male manager of parlor Kabuto, located in the Ikebukuro entertainment district, and employee Nagahiro Shiraki, 47, for allowing customers to play baccarat on 10 personal computers connected to an overseas wagering site.

Tachibana has reportedly admitted to the allegations.

Officers also arrested two male customers who were present at the time of the raid.

According to police, Kabuto opened at the end of last month near JR Ikebukuro Station. The establishment had collected one million yen in revenue per day.
