TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Monday arrested a woman sought since December for the alleged drugging and robbing of multiple men, reports TBS News (July 7).

Officers took Ikki Jin, a 30-year-old resident of Suginami Ward, into custody for lacing a drink consumed by a 23-year-old male with a sleeping powder and robbing him of a total of 350,000 yen in cash and valuables in February.

The suspect has reportedly denied the allegations. “I don’t recall anything,” she is quoted by police.

Using similar methods, Jin is believed to have robbed a 32-year-old man employed in the real estate industry of 57,000 yen in cash and a wristwatch (valued at 500,000 yen) in December. Four months later, police released footage from a security camera of the woman as she shopped with the victim inside a convenience store.

Other male victims residing in a number of different parts of the city subsequently came forward, with each claiming to have been swindled by a woman who introduced herself as a voice actress named “Aiko.”

Police believe Jin has carried out the same crime on over 10 male victims since June of 2012.
