On Friday, officers took Ryuichi Higurashi, 38, and one other suspect into custody for recruiting customers in the streets of the Kabukicho red-light district on behalf of the girl — a violation of the Anti-Prostitution Law.
The girl, who Higurashi charged a fee of 7,000 yen per day, had reportedly accumulated large debts at host clubs.
