Tokyo cops bust Chinese massage parlor in Ikebukuro for prostitution

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Monday announced the bust of a massage parlor in the Ikebukuro entertainment area of Toshima Ward on charges of prostitution, reports Fuji News Network (June 24).

Early Sunday morning, officers took the proprietor of IKB25, 40-year-old Zhou Rong, and manager Wu Jianhua, 42, into custody for employing Chinese masseuses to dispense sexual services to male customers inside private rooms.

According to Nippon News Network (June 24), both suspects have reportedly admitted to the allegations.

In 2011, Rong was arrested for operating a sex club establishment. She was released after paying a fine. The following month, she opened a massage business.

According to police, the club has collected 110 million yen in revenue since its opening.
