Officers arrested the manager of Clover, 22-year-old Kosei Nemoto, and one other suspect for providing computer terminals that access an overseas site that offers wagering on baccarat.
According to officers, the establishment collected 15 million yen in revenue since opening last month. Nemoto received 10,000 yen each day in wages.
The manager has reportedly admitted to the allegations. “I worked to make a living,” the suspect is quoted by police.
