TOKYO (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police on Monday raided a Yokohama casino for providing illegal gambling, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Mar. 26).

At around 8:40 p.m., officers entered the baccarat and roulette club Win, which is located near JR Kannai Station, and arrested three employees, including 36-year-old manager Haruhisa Kamata.

All three suspects have reportedly admitted to the allegations, while police are looking to pursue charges against 13 other employees and 22 customers.

Win took a five percent commission on bets. The 24-hour parlor employed 45 people and collected about 9 million yen per day in revenue, with the total since October coming to 1.5 billion yen.

Officers also seized four baccarat tables, one roulette wheel and 19 million yen in cash.
