On Thursday, officers from the peace preservation division took Kimihiro Tanikawa, the 49-year-old manager of Otsuka Cosplay Academy, and three other employees into custody for violating child welfare laws. Since January 8, the suspects are alleged to have knowingly employed the minor to perform obscene acts on customers.
Tanikawa has reportedly admitted to the allegations. “There is no doubt (that I did it),” the suspect is quoted by police.
The club is a “pink” salon, which offers blow-job services by females dressed in various uniforms to accommodate a number of fetishes. According to the Web site, rates begin at 3,000 yen for the first 20 minutes.
The second-year school girl ran away from home, police said, and was living in a dormitory provided by Otsuka Cosupure Gakuen. She was the number-two ranked girl at the club, where she serviced approximately 20 customers per day.
Over a two-month period starting in December, Otsuka Cosupure Gakuen generated 15 million yen in revenue.
