TOKYO (TR) – Shizuoka Prefectural Police on Sunday announced the arrest of three suspects for allegedly operating an out-call sex service from an adult-entertainment guide location at the end of January, reports the Yomiuri Shimbun (Feb. 25).

Officers took corporate executive Saki Matsubayasi and employees Chihiro Kubota and Michihiko Wada, all of whom are 23 years old, into custody for allowing customers to enter a guide spot located in Aoi Ward of Shizuoka City and select a desired prostitute from a series of photographs for a rendezvous at a nearby hotel — a violation of the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses regarding permitted place of operation. Such a shop is supposed recommend adult entertainment clubs and not supply services.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for a 30-year-old male suspect who is believed to be the principal behind the operation. His whereabouts are unknown.

Kubota and Wada are employees at the guide location and a “delivery health” (or deri heru) out-call service. Both suspects have admitted to the allegations. Matstubayashi, however, denies the charges. “I do know not know anything about the management of that business,” the suspect is quoted by police.

According to officers, the operation started in October of last year. Each month, an estimated 2.5 million yen in revenue from the business found its way to the coffers of organized crime.

Shizuoka Prefecture has 16 adult-entertainment guide locations, with nine located in Aoi Ward.
