Kanagawa cops nab temp worker for sex with underage school boy

TOKYO (TR) – Kanagawa prefectural police on Tuesday announced the arrest of 34-year-old male for two sexual encounters with an underage boy, reports Nikkan Sports (Jan. 9).

On December 14 and 21 of last year, temp worker Tomoya Mizuura is alleged to have performed sex acts with a middle-school boy at a love hotel in Sukagawa City — a violation of child prostitution and pornography laws.

The suspect, who was taken into custody on Monday, allegedly paid the boy 15,000 yen for each encounter.

The pair met at a public bath in Sukagawa in March of last year. Mizuura offered the boy 1,000 yen in exchange for his email address.

They then went to game centers and out for meals together. In August, Mizuura allegedly asked the boy for sex. When he refused, payment was proposed.

During the second sexual encounter, a staff member noticed that the boy was underage and notified authorities. Mizuura evaded investigators initially but the license number of his vehicle had been recorded before he fled the scene.
