TOKYO (TR) – The Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau revealed on Monday that the manager of an out-call sex operation in Chiba Prefecture has been indicted for evasion of taxes totaling 40 million yen, reports the Asahi Shimbun (Nov. 19).

Manager Naomi Noguchi, 66, is accused of violating the Income Tax Law by concealing 120 million yen in income accrued over a three-year period ending in 2011 for the deri heru (“delivery health”) clubs Nishi Funa Madam, located in Funabashi City, and Ajisai, which operated from Ichikawa City before shutting down in April 2010.

The manager allegedly recorded income in two account books. According to Jiji Press, the record presented for tax filing purposes included a reduced number of customer visits and tips received by employees, counted as drink fees, after the rendering of high-quality services.

Noguchi told TV Asahi that the investigation was not unfair, but says that the tax evasion claims are baseless and she plans to sue the bureau. She also said that she filed a revised tax return.

Nishi Funa Madam, which opened in 2007, specializes in dispatching “mature” women to male customers waiting at a number of love hotels in the Chiba area. According to the club’s Web site, fees start at 15,000 yen for the first 60 minutes. The club has 70 women on its books, four of whom are over 60 years of age, with the oldest being 68 and going by the name Aoyama.
