Shimbashi escort service busted for employing Chinese exchange students

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police last Friday announced the arrest of two employees at an illicit massage club in the Shimbashi entertainment area specializing in foreign hostesses for unlawful employment, reports TV Asahi (Nov. 1).

Officers took the 45-year-old manager of club M Switch, Hiromasa Fukuike, and his wife, 37, into custody for allegedly employing a 24-year-old Chinese national, residing in Japan as a student, in September — a violation of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.

According to police investigators, Fukuike has admitted to the allegations. “I feel sympathy for students in need of income for tuition and expenses so I employed them,” the suspect is quoted by police.

M Switch’s Web site, which has been removed but is still visible via Google cache, says that the club is an out-call (deri heru) sex service that dispatches “perverted” female attendants from China, Japan, and Korea to hotels and rental rooms in the Kanda, Shimbashi, and Shinagawa areas.

The club bills itself as one whose staff members cater to clientele with a masochistic streak: “For obsessives who cannot be satisfied with an ordinary sex shop, we offer a taste of luxury and tranquility that can not be put into words.”

According to investigators, Fukuike recruited employees on the M Switch Web site and via Chinese language newspapers. Police reported that approximately 30 Chinese women are on the club’s books.

The club averages about five million yen in revenue each month, with, according to Fuji News Network (Nov. 1), income having reached 120 million yen over the last two years.

On Twitter, the club’s account (@Mswitch_jp) gives recommendations on rental rooms and service specials, including the use of costumes and various sexual activities.
