Pension service senior pinched for procuring pubescent prostitute in Kanagawa

TOKYO (TR) – A senior adviser within Japan’s pension program was arrested today for violating prostitution and pornography statutes regarding child welfare after hiring a school girl prostitute last year in Kanagawa Prefecture, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Sept. 26).

On November 27, Takashi Ishikawa escorted a then 14-year-old, third-year middle school girl to a hotel in Atsugi, where she performed sexual services for 20,000 yen.

The 56-year-old Ishikawa is employed in Odawara as a senior adviser within the Japan Pension Service for the southern Kanto area.

“I don’t remember that very well,” he is quoted by Kanagawa prefectural police. The pair reportedly became acquainted through a “two-shot dial” service, in which a phone line is used to arrange male-female encounters.

A representative of the Japan Pension Service said, “Since all the facts have not been confirmed we are unable to offer comment at this time. However, if the accusations are true, it is indeed regrettable.”
