1,000 women, 100 encounters, 1 arrest: Kyushu’s nampa ‘king’ nabbed

After recently covering the arrest of the science teacher in Tokyo’s Kodaira City who drugged and molested 99 females, Shukan Jitsuwa (July 28) reports on a man who can top that figure by exactly one.

On June 4, the “king of nampa,” Taira Hashiguchi, 34, was arrested in Fukuoka’s Hakata Ward for child prostitution violations. After a 16-year-old girl filed a complaint regarding Higashiguchi, whose nickname is a tribute to his ability to pick up women, officers from Fukuoka’s Higashi Police Department took him into custody.

“After having sex at a hotel with the girl, he allegedly hit her over a money problem,” says a local beat writer. “He was arrested for battery, and the cops wound up finding provocative and illegal images on his mobile phone and personal computer. They were able to identify one middle school girl and another eight girls from high school. He took shots of three of them while engaged in actual sex acts. This led to an additional citation.”

He boasts to have approached 1,000 women and succeeded with 100. Read more

Kyoto hooker’s nasty case of clap nothing to applaud

Uh oh. It has just been learned that a female sex worker in Kyoto came down with a nasty new strain of a social disease that appears resistant to conventional treatment.

Nikkan Gendai (July 22) reports that a 31-year-old hooker was found to be harboring the nasty bug, a strain of gonorrhea called HO41, in January 2009.

The woman had sought treatment after noticing a burning sensation in her urethra during urination. She had also begun excreting pus. Read more

Only porn theater in Tohoku reopens after earthquake

There have been very few upbeat stories emerging from the Tohoku area following the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11. However, weekly tabloid Shukan Post (July 22-29), happily reports that the region’s only porn theater, in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, reopened for business on June 20.

The two-screen Ishinomaki Nikkatsu Pearl Cinema has 260 seats and was heavily damaged by the earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Yet in spite of resuming operations, it is not exactly business as usual.

A man in his 60s who visited the cinema early in July tells Shukan Post, “While I heard about the reopening from a friend, I came here to actually to confirm that as the schedule was not appearing in the newspaper. I was worried, but I am so delighted that it has reopened.”

According to the patron, the schedule typically appears three times a month in the local Ishinomaki Kahoku newspaper. However, no ad has appeared since the reopening. “The owner told me that ads were rejected,” the man says. Read more

Marital spat leads to tit-for-tat at young hunk’s flat

“My husband and I had a big disagreement and I stormed out of the house. Shinji Imaoka and ‘pink eiga’ sing and dance ‘Underwater’

TOKYO (TR) – The soft-core porn genre known as pinku eiga, or pink films, has over its half-century in existence dabbled in just about every imaginable theme — including incest, adultery, and torture — to bring eroticism to the screen.

Yet this year’s fantasy “Underwater Love,” by veteran pink director Shinji Imaoka, is probably the first film within this fading genre to interweave song and dance sequences — as in a full-blown musical — into the narrative.

Following a press screening last week at The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan, the director admitted that such a unique approach, along with the other quirks in the film, which features a mythical kappa creature, as characterized by a tortoise shell and beak, in the male lead, will likely make it a bit challenging for filmgoers to embrace. Japan conserves resources by taking tinkles in the shower

‘I’m singin’ in the rain, just peeing down the drain, what a glorious feelin’, I’m empty again…’

Just when you thought the news from Japan couldn’t get any gloomier comes this ray of light that’s sure to gladden everyone’s day. Aera (July 18) notes that with efforts to reduce power consumption, people are turning off their bidet-type toilets, depriving themselves of that gratifying gush of warm water over one’s anus that comes after a bowel movement.

Instead of the toilet, they do their tinkling in the shower.

Actually the current controversy was supposedly started by Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who last year blogged that in order to conserve water, rather than peeing in the commode she lets loose while in the shower.

Then Ayako Nishikawa (age 40), a licensed plastic surgeon who doubles as a TV commentator, chimed in while on the air by remarking, “To conserve water, I’ve also engaged in peeing in the shower.” Read more

Tokyo junior high school teacher arrested after drugging, filming 99 females

“You must be pregnant, and I will tell all.”

That phrase is certainly not something to be uttered by a junior high school teacher, but that was what 56-year-old Yuji Kurimoto, who was taken into custody on June 28 by officers from the Higashi Yamato Police Department, used to threaten multiple girls after he drugged them and committed obscene acts, reports weekly tabloid Shukan Jitsuwa (July 21).

Kurimoto, a teacher at Ritsujosui Middle School in Tokyo’s Kodaira City, was arrested for violating the welfare of minors. His downfall began after this message on his website caught the attention of a 15-year-old girl: “I am Hiro, 32 years old. Want to meet up in the city for 80,000 yen?”

They rendezvoused at a hotel in Tokyo’s Kabukicho red-light district on May 6. He filmed the subsequent sexual encounter.

“Kurimoto used the prospect of fat cash to appeal to a young girl and asked her to meet up,” a local beat writer tells the tabloid. “But after she refused, he sent 100 emails to her over a span of two days. Once the girl became emotionally drained, he said he would stop if she would agree to send a photo of herself topless. Once she agreed with the request, he then threatened her by saying he would distribute it.” Read more

Akita public servant picked up for pinching prostitute

A government employee left his office in a bit of a tight squeeze late last month after he was caught doing some squeezing of his own, reports Shukan Jitsuwa (July 14).

On June 24, heavy rain resulted in mudslides and blackouts throughout Akita Prefecture, which prompted local governments to order the evacuation of roughly 3,000 households. But hampering these efforts was the fact that three days before one of the key personnel of the Akita branch of the Ministry of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Yoshihisa Sato, 38, was arrested for molesting a call-girl.

“Within the prefecture, many roads were damaged by rivers over-topping their banks or landslides,” a local beat writer tells the tabloid. “The guy who was arrested is an expert in roads. He held a position whereby he was responsible for leading the restoration of damaged roads. At that office, both the head and co-head of the office are now handling those duties.” Read more

On June 26, a 39-year-old man employed by a local bank made use of the women’s dressing room at a hotel swimming pool in the resort town of Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, and was arrested for his troubles.

As reported in Nikkan Gendai (July 2), Tetsuo Shimoyama’s apparent purpose, however, was not to sneak peeks at women in the buff, as one might expect, but rather to be seen as one of the gals himself.
